Laying instructions for BORDER STRIPS AND DECORATIONS
(recommended by us and guarantees our products).
Before laying them, the friezes and decorations must be acclimatized to the temperature of the place where it is laid...
- Lower the water level by 50 cm for the friezes
- Empty the pool for the decorations
The surfaces must be free of grease (DEG 11 grease-removing) and perfectly clean before proceeding with the laying.
Remove every trace of dirt and other residue with an alcohol-based cleaning product methylated spirits, isopropyl alcohol).
TEMPERATURE DURING LAYING
Climatic conditions / temperatures between 15°C and 22°C.
Prepare
Scraper, easy pose spray, meter, cutter or scalpel, a clean piece of cloth and masking tape.
- Start laying preferably in an angle.
- Spray Easy Pose (ref DEG 12*) on the surface.
- Turn over the frieze or decoration and take of the silicone paper protective the adhesive side.
- Apply on the surface
- Make the frieze or decoration slide to position it precisely.
- Take the scraper and remove the liquid from the middle outwards towards top and bottom (smooth it).
- Avoid air bubbles formation during the laying.
- Do not pierce air bubbles in order not to damage the frieze and the liner.
- Once all the liquid had been removed, the adhesive side of the frieze or decoration sticks to the support. 48 hours of drying time, with a temperature recommended between 15°C and 22°C.
After the frieze or the decoration has been laid, it is recommended to apply a PVC seal on the edges at the angles and around the skimmers (see instructions attached) so as to make it perfectly watertight. For the decorations, also apply a PVC seal on the edges. For sale on our website (MS texton CCPRO Hm 290 ml).
After 48 hours of drying, you can increase the water level again.

*To avoid any damage, use the PVC support provided in order to protect your liner.
Maintenance:
*The pool temperature must not be higher than 30°.
